Free trial abuse prevention
Free trials require a verified email and are limited once per account and network, with a daily service-wide cap. We store a keyed hash of your IPv4 address or IPv6 network prefix, not the raw address in trial records, to limit repeat trials on a network for 30 days. Expired network records are removed by the background cleanup. We also keep an account-level trial claim while the account exists, and daily aggregate attempt counts for about 30 days. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare also processes network and browser signals for its security check. Deleting a video does not reset the trial allowance. Shared networks may be unable to claim another free trial; paid generation is unaffected.
What we collect
Photos you upload, the short audio section you select from your song (only that section leaves your browser), the videos generated from them, the email you enter at Stripe checkout or for email sign-in (your account), an opaque sign-in cookie, and how many videos you have left. If you contact support, we collect the topic, message and reply email; when available, our server associates the account and relevant video job so we can investigate. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
How we use it
Photos and audio are used only to produce the video you ordered, and only with your confirmation that you are the person shown or have their permission. Support information is used only to investigate and answer your request. The support form does not accept or automatically attach photos, audio, videos or Stripe payment data, and rejects card-number-shaped content. We do not use your photos or audio to train models and do not sell personal data.
Analytics and cookies
We use Plausible to count visits and key steps (generator viewed, photo added, checkout started, purchase, video created, download and support steps). Plausible does not set analytics cookies, and our event properties do not include uploaded photos, audio, email addresses, account or job identifiers, or support message text. We may also use Google Analytics 4 for the same steps and Microsoft Clarity to see where the page is confusing. The generator and your video library are masked in Clarity, so your photos and videos are never recorded. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics and Clarity stay off until you accept; elsewhere they are on when configured and you can turn them off with “Privacy choices” in the footer. Cloudflare Web Analytics also sets no cookies.
Retention and deletion
Photos and audio you upload are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. Generated videos are kept in My videos until you delete them. You can delete any finished video together with its photo and audio at any time from My videos; deletion is immediate and permanent. To make your video, your photo and audio section are sent to our video providers: EvoLink (Rap Clip scenes) and fal (Lip Sync). We then join the scenes, add your audio as the soundtrack and, if you keep lyric captions on, transcribe the vocal to time the captions. This last step runs on our own servers at Cloudflare; the transcript is used only for the captions and is not kept. The audio is shared with them through a private link that expires within 24 hours; we instruct fal to delete its files after 7 days, and EvoLink keeps inputs and outputs only as long as needed under its own privacy policy. Sign-in and support emails are sent through our email provider Resend. A support email contains the reply address, message, topic and internal account/job references when available, but no uploaded media or Stripe payment data. We temporarily store pending sign-in requests and hour-scoped hashes of client IP addresses to limit email, support and free-trial abuse. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and keeps payment and tax records as required by law. To delete your account or a support request, contact us from the relevant email; we will delete the applicable account data, support request, photos, audio and videos within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing us from your checkout email. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is only for adults. We do not knowingly process photos or data of anyone under 18 and delete it when we learn of it.
